Our Projects

Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided Post-Hurricane IAN Emergency Assessment services to Lee County.  Hurricane IAN brought Category 4 hurricane winds in excess of 150-mph along with 12+ feet of storm surge to the Fort Myers Beach area.

BEI’s team provided both landward assessments of facilities along with waterward/underwater dive investigations of pier and dock facilities.  The assessments were provided to enumerate damage, description, and dimensions (DDD) for eleven (11) County owned sites.  The effort was in support of Lee County’s application for Public Assistance grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
