San Carlos Marina Seawall & Dock Replacement
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) performed the design for approximately 800 linear feet of sea wall and 78 slips of floating docks for the marina. The engineered replacement of the existing rip rap sea wall included new vinyl sheet piling walls with aluminum walers anchored to concrete dead men. The new dock system incorporated floating docks for ease of mooring, including a floating ramp designed for ADA access.
Allied Litho Incorporated Printing Press
Blot Engineering Inc. (BEI) performed structural engineering services to design a 17’ wide x 80’ long pile-supported foundation for a new printing press inside an existing printing facility building.
The Moorings Condominiums Seawall Inspection
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) performed structural inspections via land and water for a 970' long seawall damaged in the aftermath of Hurricane IRMA. A comprehensive structural assessment report was provided outlining the condition of the seawall system along with providing recommendation for corrective measures.
King Construction Residential Construction
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided structural engineering for critical load bearing elements for this elegant 14,000 SF home at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
Chemical Processing Plant Addition
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided site plan, civil engineering, and structural engineering services for a 4-story 8,628 SF expansion of an existing chemical manufacturing plant building for support of new tanks and process equipment.
City Utilities of Springfield Electrostatic Precipitator Analysis
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) performed structural analysis on an existing electrostatic precipitator for increased positive/negative pressure loading due to the addition of a new scrubber system with increased fan speeds.
City of Cape Coral Florida - Emergency Structural Inspection Assessments
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided emergency Structural Inspection Assessments for the City on several piers, docks and buildings following Hurricane Irma. The Chiquita Lock was also inspected for damage and misalignment issues with the gates.Close coordination took place with the city to prioritize inspections, and to clear and reopen structures to the public once determined safe.
Manufacturing Plant Expansion
Blot Engineering, Inc. (BEI) provided a full range of civil, structural, and consulting engineering services for a 7,200 SF chemical manufacturing plant expansion project. The project included a new 4-story freight elevator connecting the main plant to a new loading dock warehouse.
